Research Collaborations

In addition to the numerous individual researchers who make use of the MNR facilities, the McMaster Nuclear Reactor is involved in a number of collaborative research initiatives with on-campus institutes. These include the McMaster Institute for Applied Radiation Sciences (McIARS), an association dedicated to the promotion of multidisciplinary research in the engineering and radiation sciences; the Brockhouse Institute for Materials Research (BIMR) which aims to develop, support and co-ordinate all materials-related research activities at McMaster University; and the Centre for Probe Development and Commercialization (CPDC), a Centre of Excellence for Commercialization and Research focusing on all areas related to the development of molecular imaging probes.
